Motorbase take delivery of their first car
Motorbase Performance has taken possession of their first BMW that will make-up their 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship team.
The latest spec BMW 320si was collected from the Schnitzer factory last week. “Charly (Lamm) and the guys could not have been more helpful”, beamed David Bartrum.
“We learnt a lot from just visiting the factory. The BMW is so much different to the SEAT’s we ran last season. And we just can’t wait to collect our other car.”
Even though Motorbase Performance have not finalised their drivers, David Bartrum is confident that the team will be competitive from the start of the 2008 season following an intensive test programme.
It is hoped that one of their cars will be on display at the Autosport show at the NEC in January.
