Collard tests for Robertshaw Racing
The hunt for the second seat of Robertshaw Racing is still on. The team plans to run two Chevrolet Lacetti in the British Touring Car Championship 2008. Robert Collard yesterday ran a test for the team and the team manager was pleased.
“We would love to work with someone like Rob because of the experience he brings. It would certainly assist us and Harry,” said Joe Bradley to BTCC.net.
The team has done one test before with the Lacetti in the UK. At Donington Park in January Harry Vaulkhard put in some valuable laps and was pleased with the performance.
“I am well impressed with car.” Harry commented after his first run in the car.
“It’s the first time we have run the car. There are a couple of teething problems to iron out, but yes, the car feels good.”
