Plato keeps top slot at Snetterton

The British Touring Car Championship teams continued testing at Snetterton today. Jason Plato remained on top in his diesel SEAT Léon TDi, just as yesterday. The SEAT-man was the only driver to get below 1:12, beating his team mate Darren Turner in second with four tenths. Colin Turkington in the Team RAC BMW 320si was third fastest a further three tenths behind.

Andew Jordan was fourth fastest in his BTC-spec Honda Integra ahead of Adam Jones in the petrol powered SEAT Léon.

Mat Jackson was sixth fastest ahead of Mike Jordan, Rob Collard and Stephen Jelley. Steven Kane rounded out top ten with his BMW 320si.

The Vauxhall team left the track after the first day of testing. Reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi’s best time of yesterday would have put him fourth today.
