Adam Jones excluded from the third race

The privateer SEAT-driver Adam Jones has been excluded from the third race at Snetterton. The reason for the exclusion is that his car was found to be underweight after the race. Jones finished eight in the race and fourth in the independents championship.

Despite the exclusion Jones remains in third in the Independents championship, but 25 points behind Colin Turkington, who currently is leading.

With the exclusion of Jones Stephen Jelley climbs to eight, Robert Collard to ninth and John George tenth – taking his first points of 2008.
