Team Dynamics confirms talks with Volvo

Team Dynamics have confirmed that they are in talks with Volvo regarding running a pair of Volvo C30’s in the British Touring Car Championship, as TouringCarTimes reported last week.
“We have had discussions with Volvo and I would like to think that we’re still in the running,” said team boss Steve Neal to Autosport.

TouringCarTimes have learnt that Volvo has contacted the majority of BTCC teams, offering them to run two cars with a certain amount of economical help.

The plan is to get two Volvo C30’s on the grid for the 2010 season, not for 2009, as the project was launched too late.

The current BMW-teams West Surrey Racing and Motorbase have also been contacted, according to our information, by the Swedish manufacturer.

Stay tuned for more information.
