Airwaves unveils Motorbase sponsorship
Wrigley’s Airwaves has today unveiled a sponsorship deal with Motorbase Performance for the British Touring Car Championship season 2009. The team has been renamed to Airwaves BMW.
“Airwaves® is delighted to secure our sponsorship with Motorbase and we’re looking forward to a successful season for ‘Airwaves BMW’ in 2009,” said Wrigley’s marketing director Toby Baker.
“Motorsport is a perfect brand fit for Airwaves® and our ‘KICK UP A GEAR®’ vision. The HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship is no different due to its adrenaline fueled nature and exciting racing,” continued Baker.
Motorbase Performance team boss David Bartrum is ecstatic over the deal with Airwaves.
“They have a proven record in motorsport, and with the tremendous end we had to 2008, we feel we have a superb chance of competing for race wins and podiums from the start of this season.
