Shedden & Pinkney confirmed for Dynamics
Gordon Shedden and David Pinkney are going to drive for Team Dynamics in the British Touring Car Championship this year. Shedden drove for the team last year and is pleased to be able to continue.
“I know the team well and the car well. What people don’t realise is that Dynamics has kept its head down and put a lot of developments on the car to make it even stronger for 2009,” said Shedden to Motorsport News.
The main focus of development of the Honda Civic for this season has been put on the rear suspension, among other things.
“It was stuff we wanted to do last year but it was impossible to rework the rear suspension when you are in the middle of racing. Everyone in the team has worked so hard to find more pace and I feel ready to capitalise on that. I’m sure this can be a break through year for me,” said Shedden.
Team boss Steve Neal is confident that Shedden is going to perform this year, with a bit of luck.
“All Gordon needs is a bit more luck – every driver has had a slice of that when they’ve won the title. He’s matured with the team, learned a lot of things from Matt Neal when he was his team-mate and has the ingredients to lift the title,” said Neal.
