Jones & Eaves aim to improve at Thruxton
Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing are ready for the second British Touring Car Championship race of the year at Thruxton. The ambition is to stay in top ten in all three races as driver Adam Jones explains.
“Thruxton is a tough place to come for the team, cars and drivers, and we are all working on improving the cars to give us some strong top ten finishes over all three races,” said Jones.
Jones scored 14 points from the first race and is currently sixth in the championship. His team mate Dan Eaves in tenth in the championship after scoring 10 points.
“It seems like a long time since the first round, we have changed a few things on the car since then, to suit Thruxton and hope that they enable us to build on the performances at Brands,” said Eaves.
Eaves has a strong record at Thruxton as he became the only driver to win all three races during a race weekend there.
“It will be great to be back, the circuit suits my driving style so I’d like think that I could surprise a few people and bring the car home in the points against some tough opposition,” said Eaves.
