Jackson from Jelley in second practice

Racing Silverline driver Mat Jackson set the fastest time in the second practice session at Rockingham, with Team RAC driver Stephen Jelley an impressive second fastest, just five hundredths of a second behind.

Tom Chilton was an equally impressive fourth fastest in the Team Aon Ford Focus.

The title rivals were also a lot closer in this session, with Colin Turkington just ahead of VX Racing’s Fabrizio Giovanardi in 7th place.

Jonathan Adam, who topped the first session, dropped to ninth, sixth tenths behind Jackson. His team mate Rob Collard followed right behind him, rounding off top ten.
