New Dunlop tyre for 2010

Dunlop is going to introduce a new tyre for the British Touring Car Championship 2010. The new tyre conforms to the new environmental regulations of the EU. Dunlop gave the final green light for the tyre after a two day test at Snetterton in October.

According to Dunlop the tyre is going to be both faster and more durable compared to the tyre version used in BTCC 2009.

But the new tyre is not going to be used in the premiere at Thruxton due to the special requirements on tyres because of the extra demanding characteristics of the very fast track.

The second round at Rockingham is going to be the first race for the new tyres.
