Andrew Jordan tops morning test at Rockingham
Andrew Jordan topped the morning session of the official British Touring Car Championship at Rockingham today. The Vauxhall driver lapped the track in 1:23.886 with Jason Plato and James Nash really close behind.
Plato was just 0.065 seconds behind Jordan’s best time, with Nash being just six thousands of a second further adrift.
Matt Neal was fourth fastest, close to two tenths slower in his Team Dynamics Honda Civic. Chevrolet driver Alex MacDowall was fifth fastest ahead of the two Ford Focus drivers Tom Chilton and Tom Onslow-Cole.
Paul O’Neill and Dave Pinkney followed in eight and ninth ahead of a newcomer.
Daniel Lloyd completed his first ever laps in a S2000 touring car at Rockingham today. The youngster drove TNT Post sponsored Vauxhall Vectra for Triple Eight with 1:26.015 as his best time.
