Shedden aims to continue winning at Oulton

Gordon Shedden has won a race at Oulton Park every season he has raced at the track and he intends to continue the statistics.
“I have won at Oulton in every season I have raced a touring car there and it has always been in a Honda! Talk about putting the pressure on…” said Shedden to BTCC.net.

The Honda Racing driver is aiming to be on pole position on the fast and flowing circuit.

“I love the place because it is a real classic circuit and it gives the driver an adrenaline rush to nail a quick lap. Unlike Matt, I don’t have any extra weight on the car so I will be gunning for pole position to start the weekend off right,” said Shedden.

Shedden is currently sixth in the championship, 17 points from the championship lead and after the recent development of the Honda Civic, he is confident ahead of Oulton.

“I want three big scores to push me to the front of the championship and given the developments we have made on the car I am confident we will be right at the front,” said Shedden.
