Plato fastest in Snetterton first practice
Jason Plato was fastest in the first practice session at Snetterton for Silverline Chevrolet, ahead of the Tom Chilton and WSR’s Rob Collard.
The Silverline Chevrolet lapped the Norfolk circuit with a lap of 1:12.658, just over a tenth of a second ahead of the LPG powered Ford Focus of Tom Chilton, but over a second slower than the lap set by Chilton at the official test just over two weeks ago.
Rob Collard was third fastest, and top of the BMW’s, who had a strong presence in the session, with the two Airwaves BMW’s 5th and 6th.
Honda Racing Team, who missed the test session in late July, were 7th and 8th fastest, with Matt Neal leading Gordon Shedden, just four-tenths of a second down on Plato.
