Plato leads Nash in final free practice at Snetterton

Jason Plato set the fastest time again in free practice 2 at Snetterton, ahead of James Nash, with Alex MacDowall third.

The RML Chevrolet’s were strong throughout the 40 minute session, but the two drivers were split by the Vectra of James Nash, who drove for the RML team last year.

Behind the GM vehicles was a combination of BMW’s and turbo cars, with Andrew Jordan the top turbo-powered car in fifth, with Team Aon’s Tom Onslow-Cole sixth.

The Honda’s are struggling at Snetterton, with championship leader Matt Neal tenth, and team mate Gordon Shedden, who missed the first ten minutes of the session as his car was repaired after an off in the morning practice, 13th.
