Jordan leads the way in Free Practice 2
Pirtek Racing were fastest in the second practice session, with driver Andrew Jordan leading Team Aon’s Tom Onslow-Cole and Chevrolet’s Alex MacDowall.
As in the morning session, turbo-engined cars were at the front, this time with the Next Generation Touring Car unit built by Swindon Engines powering Jordan to set the fastest time of the day so far by just five-thousandths of a second.
The Team Aon Ford Focus ST’s were second and fourth, sandwiching Snetterton’s pole sitter Alex MacDowall.
The championship leading duo of Matt Neal & Jason Plato were fifth and sixth fastest, with Plato just over three-tenths back.
Lea Wood, now with a newly fitted engine in his Honda Integra Type-R also took part in the session, and was 20th, with Martin Depper last after losing some time after going off track.
