WSR, Arena Motorsport, Eurotech & Toyota test at Thruxton
Several teams are testing at Thruxton this week following, including West Surrey Racing with Rob Collard and new signing Nick Foster.
The test was hampered by rain throughout Wednesday, but better conditions have prevailed throughout today.
West Surrey Racing’s new driver Nick Foster had his first run of the year in the team’s BMW 320si which will run to full S2000 regulations this year.

The Pirtek Racing team were also present, with drivers Andrew Jordan and Jeff Smith testing the NGTC powered Vauxhall Vectras.
Tom Chilton and Andy Neate continued to test for Arena Motorsport, still sharing the 2010 specification Ford Focus ST, before the team switch to the new Focus S2000 hatchback for this year.

Kelvin Burt was also at the test on Wednesday as GPR Motorsport continued development of the TOCA prototype Toyota Avensis, whilst sports car driver Marino Franchitti, brother of three-time IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti, was at the wheel today.
Speedworks Motorsport’s driver Tony Hughes was also at the test today, but with the team’s Avensis still under construction by GPR, he was driving a Renault Clio to help familiarise himself with front-wheel drive.
Unfortunately a crash late in the day put an end to their test prematurely.
