First video of the new Ford Focus testing

With the British Touring Car Championship 2011 season three weeks away, the teams are at full speed with the pre-season testing. The Aon Ford team made their first appearance with the new Focus at Brands last week, captured in this video.

The number one driver of the team, Tom Chilton, was behind the wheel of the new car during the test. The car is equipped with the new NGTC specification 2.0 turbo engine, as can be heard by the distinctive turbo sound when lifting off the throttle.

The NGTC engine has been developed by Mountune while the team has chosen to build the car according to the FIA S2000 regulations.

The next appearance of the car is scheduled to take place at the new Snetterton 300 circuit tomorrow.
