Jackson tops first part of Snetterton test
Airwaves Racing driver Mat Jackson topped the first part of the unofficial British Touring Car Championship test at the new Snetterton 300 track. The Ford-driver lapped the track in 1:59.233, 0.141 seconds faster than Matt Neal.
A total of six teams are present during the test day, including Arena/Aon, West Surrey Racing, Pirtek Racing, Team Dynamics and Tech-Speed.
The start of the test session was delayed because of fog and the teams were first able to hit the track at 11.00 CET.
Andrew Jordan was third fastest in the NGTC-engined Vauxhall Vectra ahead of the S2000-engined Chevrolet Cruze of Paul O’Neill. Rob Collard rounded off top five in the WSR-prepared BMW 320si.
