Eric Kwong wins race one at Sepang

Eric Kwong won his first race of the season for Look Fong Racing Team at Sepang, after Team AAI/Buddy Club driver Chen Jun San was served a post race penalty dropping him from first to third.

Chen Jun San had started fourth and worked his way into the lead to take the chequered after ten laps, but was deemed to have been out of his starting box at the start and given a penalty of thirty seconds.

This dropped Chen to third and gave Eric Kwong the victory ahead of Kenneth Lau.
