Livery preview of Adam Morgan’s Toyota

This is the first image of the livery that Ginetta GT Supercup graduate Adam Morgan will compete with on his Toyota Avensis, run by Speedworks Motorsport for the 2012 British Touring Car Championship season.

Morgan has already test driven the Dynojet Racing Toyota Avensis at the end of last season.

“It took a bit of getting used to,” said Morgan. “But I got to grips with it quite well and upped my pace. I have no illusions that it is going to be difficult for me in the BTCC – I am very inexperienced compared with the other drivers out there – but I want to give it everything.”

Stockport-based Speedworks Motorsport is stepping up its involvement in the championship this year, running two cars. One for Morgan, and the other for Tony Hughes, who remains with the team.

“We are very excited that Adam is joining us for 2012 alongside Tony”, said Team Principal Christian Dick. “As well as being a very likeable young man he has proven himself to be a very quick, competent driver. He has a very bright future.”
