Honda Yuasa Racing Team voted best BTCC team 2012

The readers of TouringCarTimes have voted Honda Yuasa Racing Team as the best team of the 2012 British Touring Car Championship.

The team dominated the 2012 BTCC by claiming all three titles, with drivers Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal finishing 1-2 in the drivers’ championship after a total of 13 victories during the season.

Honda Yuasa Racing Team got 35% of the votes with Motorbase Performance closest in second on 23% and Triple Eight in third with 12% of the votes.

While Motorbase Performance finished second for the overall teams’ award, they won the vote for best independent team.

The Ford team received 38% of the votes with West Surrey Racing in second on 19% and Rob Austin Racing in third on 14%.
