Solid season start for Adam Morgan

Adam Morgan came from the first British Touring Car Championship weekend of 2013 with three top ten finishes overall and his first independents’ victory.
“I’m very proud of the team and what we have managed to achieve this weekend,” said Morgan.

Morgan drove for Speedworks Motorsport last year and takes part in this year’s BTCC with his family run team Cicely Racing, making the strong first weekend extra sweet.
“I can’t begin to describe how much work has been put in to get this BTCC programme off the ground, so to end our debut weekend together with a first Independents’ Trophy win is just brilliant,” said Morgan.

The Toyota driver is currently third of the independents’ and sixth overall. Next up is Donington Park where Morgan hopes to continue strongly.
“The car was a dream to drive this weekend, hopefully we can carry this momentum forward into the next round at Donington Park,” said Morgan.
