Andrew Jordan to race in World Rallycross
Reigning BTCC champion Andrew Jordan is going to take part in the World Rallycross event Lydden Hill.
“I only wanted to do this with a team where I felt there was a good fit,” said Jordan.
Jordan is going to drive a Ford Fiesta ST for Swedish team Ford OMSE at Lydden Hill and will also act as test driver for the team during the season.
“I’ve built a relationship with Andreas Eriksson, the team boss, over the last year. Obviously at Lydden I want to be as competitive as possible but I also want to try and help the team become World Champions,” said Jordan.
The 24-year-old started his motorsport career in rallycross and claimed the 2007 British Rallycross Supercar title.
“Rallycross is growing and evolving quickly so it is important that the teams and drivers develop. With my circuit racing experience, I hope I can help the team and its drivers,” said Jordan.
