Mat Jackson completes 2014 BTCC grid

Mat Jackson has been confirmed as Motorbase Performance’s third driver for the 2014 season, in a last-minute deal announced today at Donington Park.

The 2008 championship runner-up returns for a fifth season with the Kent-based squad, and will race alongside Fabrizio Giovanardi in the Airwaves-liveried car.

Jackson completes the grid of 31 cars, with a 32nd licence held in reserve which may be used later in the season.

Jackson will now take part in the official four-hour test session, which gets under way at 13:00 GMT.
