Andrew Jordan fastest again in Thruxton second practice

Reigning champion Andrew Jordan was fastest again in the second practice session of the British Touring Car Championship weekend at Thruxton.

The Honda driver lapped the circuit in 1:16.314 and was close to half a second faster than Gordon Shedden who headed team mate Matt Neal in third position, making it a Honda 1-2-3.

Sam Tordoff claimed fourth position for Triple Eight, close to 1.2 seconds from Jordan’s time. Adam Morgan put his Mercedes A-Class into the top five, 1.259 seconds from the top.

Jack Goff, Tom Ingram and Glynn Geddie rounded off the top eight.

Motorbase Performance’s Mat Jackson claimed position nine ahead of West Surrey Racing’s Colin Turkington in tenth position, both being over 1.5 seconds from Jordan’s time.
