Andrew Jordan scores World Rallycross Championship podium

Reigning BTCC champion Andrew Jordan secured a podium finish in a one-off appearance in the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill.
“I hoped at the beginning of the weekend that I would be able to make the Final. To get a podium — I didn’t think that would be possible,” said Jordan.

Jordan drove for Olsbergs MSE in a Ford Fiesta and finished third overall, with team mate Andreas Bakkerud winning.
“I had a blast here. The British Touring Car Championship is still my focus but I’ll be talking to the team to see if it might be possible to do a few more rallycross events,” said Jordan.

Jordan is currently heading the 2014 BTCC drivers’ championship with three victories from the first three race weekends. The 2014 BTCC season continues at Oulton Park on June 8th.
