Jason Plato’s grid penalty overturned on appeal

Jason Plato’s grid penalty for tomorrow’s first race at Rockingham has been overturned on appeal.

Triple Eight’s Plato had been punished with a reprimand for his incident with Rob Austin in the final race at Knockhill, and sent to the back of the grid, as it was his third infringement of the year.

The team appealed the decision, and the MSA stewards have now overturned the penalty.
