Sam Tordoff ahead of Andy Priaulx on race two Croft grid

West Surrey Racing’s Sam Tordoff and Andy Priaulx will once again line up first and second on the grid for the second race at Croft after setting the best two laptimes in race one, with Team BMR’s Jason Plato third despite finishing down in 27th place.

Tordoff and Priaulx were separated by just 0.128 seconds, with Plato’s tactic of starting from the pitlane to set a competitive laptime paying off.

Honda Racing Team’s Gordon Shedden was fourth ahead of Plato’s team-mate Colin Turkington, with Rob Collard fifth ahead of Rob Austin.

Speedworks Motorsport’s Tom Ingram was a strong eighth ahead of Austin’s team-mate Hunter Abbott, who starts a season’s best ninth ahead of the third Team BMR Volkswagen CC of Aron Smith.
