Aiden Moffat out for remainder of Snetterton weekend

Aiden Moffat will miss the remainder of the Snetterton race weekend after being taken to hospital showing signs of concussion.

The driver of the #16 Mercedes-Benz A Class was involved in an incident that caused a red flag in FP2 between the first corner Riches and the hairpin Montreal, and was helped out of the car by marshals.

The young Scot was then airlifted to hospital where he was due to be checked over having shown possible signs of concussion.

Although there has been no update since Moffat was taken to hospital, his team has confirmed that he will not be back for qualifying and nor will not be taking part in tomorrow’s races.
