Kieran Gallagher switches to TOCA engine for Rockingham

Tony Gilham Racing’s Kieran Gallagher has switched to the stock Swindon/TOCA engine for the Rockingham weekend after a multitude of reliability problems throughout 2015.

The Scotsman’s Toyota Avensis was previously powered by the Xctechr engine used by United Autosports in 2014, but the team have already picked up four points deductions for engine changes and have struggled to complete many races.

Following the change, Gallagher racked up 16 laps in first practice this morning, which put him 17th fastest in the standings.
