Soft tyre choices announced for Silverstone races

The soft tyre choices have been announced for today’s three BTCC races at Silverstone’s National circuit, with all four title contenders choosing the same strategy.

Gordon Shedden, Jason Plato, Matt Neal and Colin Turkington will all run the softer compound in the second of today’s races, along with the majority of the field.

The full list of tyre choices is as follows:

Race One: Sam Tordoff, Simon Belcher, Aiden Moffat, Nicolas Hamilton, Jack Goff, Aron Smith, Andrew Jordan, Mat Jackson, James Cole, Tony Gilham.

Race Two: Colin Turkington, Rob Collard, Dan Welch, Alex Martin, Dave Newsham, Mike Bushell, Matt Neal, Martin Depper, Adam Morgan, Gordon Shedden, Hunter Abbott, Jeff Smith, Josh Cook, Tom Ingram.

Race Three: Derek Palmer, Stewart Lines, Rob Austin, Andy Priaulx.
