No further action against race winner Colin Turkington

Colin Turkington will not face a penalty following the jump start investigation announced midway through race one at Snetterton.

Team BMR’s Turkington was investigated for moving before the start along with four other drivers – Motorbase Performance’s Andrew Jordan, Maximum Motorsport’s Stewart Lines, Team Parker Racing Alex Martin and Team BKR’s Mark Howard.

It means Turkington keeps his victory and is now ninth in the championship standings, 50 points behind West Surrey Racing’s Sam Tordoff.

Along with Turkington, no action was taken against any of the other drivers investigated.
