Hard tyre choices revealed at Croft

Dunlop has revealed the tyre options for the latest three rounds of the BTCC season at Croft, with pole sitter Ash Sutton the only one of the front-runners to go with the Hard tyre in race one.

With Dunlop bringing the Hard and Medium compounds to North Yorkshire, the Subaru driver has elected to run the prime tyre as soon as possible on race day, with the majority of his rivals deciding to then run the softer option tyre later in the day.

Mat Jackson, Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden are amongst those to have gone with race two for the Hard tyre, with the likes of Colin Turkington and Tom Ingram holding off to race three.

Rain is possible later today, which could impact on whether or not drivers run the tyres in the designated race.
