Jeff Smith re-admitted to hospital with nerve pain and shoulder subluxation
Eurotech Racing’s Jeff Smith has been re-admitted to hospital five days after he was released, as the driver who was involved an a nine-car pile-up in qualifying at Croft two weeks’ ago was still suffering complications.
The team have confirmed in a statement that he has been re-admitted “primarily to get his pain relief back under control.”
A consulsant has confirmed he shoulder is subluxing, and he has damaged an arterial nerve – with potential further surgery required for the 51-year-old.
