Stewart Lines hit with penalty following Josh Cook clash

Maximum Motorsport’s Stewart Lines has been fined £500 and given three penalty points for an incident with Triple Eight Racing’s Josh Cook on the first lap of today’s second race at Snetterton.

Lines’s Ford Focus and Cook’s MG made contact at the final corner, putting the series returnee out of the race. Cook continued and took the flag in 28th.

There has only been one other penalty so far today, with BTC Racing’s Dave Newsham given an official reprimand and two penalty points for his clash with Motorbase Performance’s Mat Jackson at Oggies in race one.
