BTCC class of 2018 hits the track at Donington

All 32 cars set to do battle in the British Touring Car Championship this season were able to hit the track at Donington Park yesterday [Tuesday] as the annual season launch took place.

With the make-up of the grid having already confirmed, the main interest on the day was on the appearance of a number of cars that hadn’t been seen in their new liveries, with the likes of Team Dynamics, Pirtek Racing, Team HARD and AmD breaking cover for the first time.

The traditional four hour afternoon test session then saw Rob Austin head the way in his Alfa Romeo Giulietta, with focus now turning to the opening rounds of the new campaign at Brands Hatch on the weekend of 6/7 April.
