Stian Paulsen confirms TCR Europe season with family team

Stian Paulsen will take part in the 2018 TCR Europe season with his own family-run team Stian Paulsen Racing.

”I am very very excited to be part of the TCR Europe program! It’s perfect for me who run my own team. All races are in distance that I can drive with my Sprinter and all races are on beautiful places” said Paulsen.

The Norwegian will drive a Cupra TCR but has stated that he is unsure whether he will make the season start at Paul Ricard on May 5-6th due to ongoing repairs of his car.

”I am way behind on my time plan, because I had to use very much time find the money, so I am working on my car,” said Paulsen.

”[The car] is still crashed after the start crash at Oschersleben in the 2017 TCR International Series. I’m not 100% sure if I will manage to get ready for Paul Ricard, but I am pushing really hard to manage that.”

Paulsen finished third overall in the 2016 SEAT León Eurocup and drove five race weekends of the 2017 TCR International Series with seven retirements and eighth place as his best result.
