Junesung Park stripped of podium finish after post-race penalty

Junesung Park has been stripped of his podium finish in the first TCR Europe race of the weekend at Barcelona-Catalunya following a post-race penalty.

The Hyundai driver was deemed to have exceeded track limits which meant a five-second penalty and a drop from third to fourth place.

The penalty elevates Monlau Motorsport’s Viktor Andersson to third and reduces his gap to points leader and team-mate Marco Butti to 17 points.

The final race of the season starts at 11:30 CET.
