Donington Park secures TCR Europe slot
The addition of a UK round at Donington Park is the main headline of a six round calendar for the 2027 TCR Europe season.
The East Midlands venue will welcome the series to support the Convoy in the Park British Truck Racing Championshil event in August.
It will be the first European touring car race at the circuit since 2004, with the Nürburgring also returning for the first time since 2022.
The season will kick off at the Red Bull Ring and also includes events at Spa, Paul Ricard and Catalunya.
Alongside the calendar, which has been revealed during the season finale event in Spain, series organisers also confirmed that the title winner next season will earn a paid entry into the 2028 TCR World Tour.
“We’re delighted to announce our new calendar for the 2027 season,” WSC Group president and new TCR Europe promoter Marcello Lotti said. “It is an incredible line-up of circuits, with some of the most famous venues in Europe and a real balance between fan favourites and modern classics.
“Returning to Austria, the UK, and Germany will be special for our drivers, teams and fans. Combined with our commitment to keeping costs under control, and the prize fund and TCR World Tour entry fee on offer, we believe this new TCR Europe schedule is an incredible calendar that offers outstanding value to everyone who competes with us.”
