John Filippi replaces Davit Kajaia for final two races

John Filippi is going to replace Davit Kajaia at PCR Sport for the remaining two TCR Europe series rounds at Barcelona and Monza.

“I’m really happy to come back with the Cupra for the final rounds of TCR Europe. I’m ready for fighting in Spain, I know the car well and I like a lot the Barcelona track,” said Filippi.

“Working with PCR Sport gives me a lot of confidence. They have a lot of knowledge and did very well last year. The most important me for this weekend is to find the right way of working and improve performance throughout the weekend.”

Filippi raced for Vuković Motorsport in the first part of the TCR Europe season this year, driving a Renault Mégane TCR that will be taken over by Jack Young for Barcelona.

Filippi’s best result so far this season is 13th position in the season opener and is currently placed 31st overall.
