Tom Coronel confirms European programme

Tom Coronel has confirmed that he will compete a limited programme in the TCR Europe series during the 2020 season.

The Dutch driver will drive a Honda Civic Type R run by Boutsen Ginion Racing alongside his programme in the World Touring Car Cup.

Coronel will compete in the season opener at Paul Ricard this weekend, as well as the events at Spa-Francorchamps and Jarama.

“I am looking forward to being able to race again and to continue the good co-operation with Boutsen Ginion Racing and Honda I have had for several years already,” Coronel said.

“A good battle is guaranteed! Moreover, there are drivers on the grid I have known for years from other series such as the WTCC or WTCR. Pepe Oriola, Mehdi Bennani, John Filippi: all of them I have been racing with for years and will now be meeting again here.”
