Josh Cook excluded from Oulton Park opener

Josh Cook has been excluded from the opening BTCC race of the weekend after his car failed post-race ride height checks.

The BTC Racing man had produced a fine drive from a poor start to take his first win of the season but was clearly concerned post-race when the roller wouldn’t go underneath the front right of his Honda Civic in parc ferme.

Officials have therefore excluded Cook from the result of the opening race which hands victory to Rory Butcher, with Dan Cammish and Jake Hill completing the podium.

Cook will now start race two from the back of the grid.
