Jac Constable withdraws from Croft

Jac Constable will miss the chance to make his BTCC debut at Croft after being withdrawn from the event on medical grounds.

The former Ginetta GT Supercup driver was due to take over the Power Maxed Racing Vauxhall driven by Mike Bushell, Rob Austin and Jade Edwards so far this season but having felt unwell overnight, will not now be able to contest the latest three races of the campaign.

With no replacement driver available, the car will not take place in the Croft race day, with the grid down to 25 cars as a result.

Constable’s Croft outing was scheduled to be a one-off affair, with the driver for the Snetterton meeting set to be revealed in the coming days.
