Andy Wilmot confirms full-season entry

Andy Wilmot has confirmed that he will return to TCR UK for a full season in 2022 at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N TCR run by JamSport.

Wilmot sold his Cupra Leon TCR to Callum Newsham over the winter but has now acquired a Hyundai from Maximum Motorsport that he will race during the season ahead.

He becomes the fourth confirmed member of the JamSport line-up alongside Ant Whorton-Eales, Simon Tomlinson and Adam Shepherd.

“It’s great to be going into this year’s TCR UK season with JamSport Racing,” he said. “I’ve known Jamie (Going) the owner for around 10 years and seen his team grow into a professional championship-winning operation. I’m confident this new association will give me the best shot at success.

“With more cars on the TCR UK grid than ever before, I’m excited about what is shaping to be a very competitive season ahead.”
