Rob Boston Racing launches TCR programme with Jac Constable

Rob Boston Racing has announced plans to join the TCR UK grid in 2023 after agreeing a deal to run multiple race winner Jac Constable.

Constable joins the team after a two-year spell with Power Maxed Racing and is the latest driver who will get behind the wheel of a second-generation Audi RS 3 LMS – which will be appearing on the grid for the first time in 2023.

“I’m looking forward to the new season and having tested the car recently, I’m already impressed with the new Audi,” Constable said.

“It felt fast right out of the box, and I have the confidence that I can push the car already, knowing that there is more seat time to come before the season starts in April.

“Working with Rob Boston and the team has given me a new challenge but also a new goal: to go out and fight for the 2023 TCR UK title.

“Armed with the latest Gen2 Audi, I can now get to grips with the car and improve on the last two seasons by aiming to be top at the end of the year.”

Team boss Rob Boston said he was excited to add a TCR programme to an expansive list that has seen his team compete in a range of championships in recent years.

“We’ve been very successful in junior championships in previous years including Ginetta Supercup, the British Endurance Championship and Mazda’s to name a few,” he said.

“We’ve also kept an eye on TCR UK as it flourished over the past two seasons and I’m very excited to be able to have the chance to be a part of the grid in 2023.

“We had a meeting with Jac at the Autosport Show and the deal came together pretty quickly. To be able to arrive as a new team with a brand new TCR car and an accomplished race winner like Jac is a great way to begin for us.

“We’re taking each race weekend as it comes, giving Jac the best support possible for his season.”
