EXCELR8 reveals Ronan Pearson livery for debut campaign

EXCELR8 has revealed the livery of the Macklin Motors-backed Hyundai that Ronan Pearson will drive during his rookie season in the BTCC.

The livery is visually similar to the one that will adorn the cars of Tom Chilton and defending champion Tom Ingram, which was revealed by the team earlier this month.

Pearson’s car features branding from Macklin down the side, whilst the pink flashes on the other two cars have been replaced by red.

“Having always dreamed of racing in the BTCC, it was a surreal feeling to announce my move into the series last month,” he said. “However, that was nothing compared to the feeling that came from walking in to see the Hyundai in the Macklin Motors livery with my name on the side.

“I think the car looks fantastic and I’m hugely proud to have this opportunity thanks to Macklin Motors, EXCELR8 and all of the loyal sponsors who have supported me to get to this stage in my career.

“With my car all liveried up and ready to go, everything suddenly feels very real and I can’t wait to hit the track to get pre-season testing underway and start working towards the opening rounds at Donington Park next month.”
