Pro Alloys Racing to run TCR UK programme

The Pro Alloys Racing team will join the TCR UK grid for the first time this season after announcing plans to run in a number of rounds with Alistair Camp.

The team will make its TCR debut this weekend at Snetterton on what promises to be a busy weekend for Camp, who will also be in action in the supporting Milltek Sport Civic Cup – which he won back in 2021.

Camp will be at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N TCR, having had the chance to sample the car for the first time during the recent season launch test at Donington Park, having also turned laps in a Cupra TCR earlier in the year.

“I can say that I am delighted to be able to make my debut in TCR UK this weekend,” he said. “After driving the Cupra and the Hyundai, the future for me is definitely TCR. I’ll also be taking part in the Milltek Sport Civic Cup and my aim is to retake the title there whilst taking in as many TCR UK rounds as I can.

“I can say thank you enough to Neil Greenland and the team at Pro Alloys for giving me the chance to take part this weekend in TCR UK. Being in the Civic Cup for the last few years, it’s clear that the hard work put into both championships by Stewart and Nicki Lines is paying off.

“Civic Cup has a large field this year and the depth of talent in TCR UK shows it’s taking another stride forward. Snetterton is going to be an amazing weekend, bring it on!”
