RC2 Racing Team confirms Portimao entry

The RC2 Racing Team has confirmed that it will enter two cars in the opening rounds of the new TCR Europe season this weekend in Portimao.

The Spanish outfit will run brothers Rubén and Felipe Fernández in a pair of Audi RS 3 LMS Gen 2 machines, with both drivers having taken part in selected rounds in the series last year.

Felipe scored the best result of the pair, taking a sixth place finish at Monza.

The Portimao outfit comes on the back of the TCR Italy opener at Imola, where Rubén scored a best result of fifth.
