Kevin Ceccon added to Hungaroring entry

Aggressive Team Italia has confirmed that it will run a third car for the latest round of the TCR World Tour and TCR Europe seasons this weekend at the Hungaroring for Kevin Ceccon.

Ceccon joined the team for the last World Tour event at Vallelunga, which ran as a standalone event, and will now line-up alongside regular European pairing Mikael Karlsson and Levente Losonczy in a third Hyundai Elantra TCR.

“I’m so pleased to make my debut in TCR Europe and with Aggressive Team Italia, with which I achieved some very good results in the past,” Ceccon said. “After we made the top ten in Vallelunga, my goal is to score strong points.

“I wish to thank Mauro Guastamacchia for giving me this opportunity and I’m ready to give my best.”

Team boss Mauro Guastamacchia said he was pleased to give Ceccon the chance to compete in a second event this season.

“We are proud to enter three cars in Hungary and happy for offering Kevin this opportunity,” he said. “For our team is a big effort to run a car for such a professional driver, and we are confident that he will provide us with good advice for making the most out of the Elantra’s potential.

“We are confident that with our three drivers, we are in the position to claim some brilliant results.”

The addition of Ceccon to the entry comes alongside Ruben Volt debuting with ALM Motorsport, whilst a change at Volcano Motorsport will see Isaac Smith replaced by Daniel Tkachenko.
