Date set for 2024 FIA Motorsport Games

The third edition of the FIA Motorsport Games will be held in October next year after the dates for the 2024 event were officially confirmed.

Valencia had already been announced as the host of the event, which will follow on from the inaugural 2019 edition of the games at Vallelunga and the 2022 edition which was held at Paul Ricard.

The multi-discipline event will run at the Generalitat Valenciana and Circuit Ricardo Tormo, with the latter being the host for the touring car element of the competition – which returns for the third successive event.

The 2022 running of the games saw Belgian driver Gilles Magnus emerge victorious in the qualifying race, but the Touring Car gold medal would go to the Netherlands and Tom Coronel after he took top honours in the main race ahead of Spaniard Isidro Callejas and Irish racer Jack Young.

Italy, with three golds and a silver, topped the medal table.

The expanded games – which will feature a total of 26 disciplines – will run from 23-27 October.
